Bill Stewart is a highly accomplished musician and sound engineer with a lifelong passion for creating the perfect tone. He has been a staple of the Huntsville music scene since the 1970s, playing multiple shows per day across a wide range of genres. Bill's early years were spent playing drums in his father's weekend band before transitioning to guitar and quickly gaining experience as a stage guitarist at Deerhurst Resort and in the popular country band Loose Boots. His skills and reputation led to a stint as a bandmate of legendary rockabilly celebrity Ronnie Hawkins, touring Europe in the process.

In the 1980s, Bill briefly left music to work in the oil fields of Northern Alberta before returning to music and refining his craft on the road. He settled in Huntsville in the 1990s and began teaching and repairing guitars, while continuing to perform as a sideman and in local bands. A deep dive into jazz chord repertoire during his accreditation program at Humber College opened up new avenues for Bill's income, and he went on to thrive as an integral member of the popular bluegrass band HoneyGrass, blending blues, jazz, and country into their uplifting and silky approach to traditional bluegrass.
